Fegime Romania presented ”INTELLIGENT LIGHTING FOR THE CITIES” AT the General Assembly of the Romanian Association of Municipalities

On June 29, 2018, in Constanta, the president of the Fegime Romania group, Mr. Florin Niculae and the general manager, Mr. Costin Cuneşteanu, attended the General Assembly of the Romanian Association of Municipalities.

In the presence of more than 60 mayors of Romanian municipalities, representatives of the Fegime group presented “Smart lighting for the cities” within the General Assembly. At the end of the event, Fegime Romania made a real-time demonstration of the functioning of an intelligent lighting system in the inner courtyard of the Administrative Palace in Constanta.


TRANSFORMATION OF THE PUBLIC LIGHTING

Mr. Costin Cuneşteanu, general manager of Fegime Romania, talked about the new challenges of the cities, the transformations through which public lighting passes and the advantages of implementing intelligent lighting, highlighting the main advantages that it offers to the citizens and to the city decision makers: low energy consumption, increased comfort and safety for the citizens, the possibility of integrating with other intelligent systems, etc.

REAL TIME DEMONSTRATION OF AN INTELLIGENT LIGHTING SYSTEM

In the inner courtyard of the Administrative Palace of Constanta, representatives of the Fegime group made a real-time demonstration with a Philips CityTouch lighting system, consisting of four fixtures equipped with tele-management devices and a software application for monitoring and control the lighting fixtures.
